Alberta Energy and Minerals e-Subscription for Oil Information Bulletins
This letter explains that the Alberta Energy and Minerals Oil Development Business Unit will no longer send paper mail-outs for new Information Bulletins (IB). Instead, it will be sending these IB's via an email subscription list that Industry can join through the Alberta Energy and Minerals website.

Petroleum Marketing Regulation and Producer Forecasting Obligations​

Please be advised that effective immediately the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission (APMC) will be enforcing producer forecasting obligations as outlined in the Petroleum Marketing Regulation (PMR). Producers are requested to begin making necessary steps to ensure that they are making every effort to forecast accurately and will be held to a forecast to actual variance of 3% or 250m3, whichever is less.

These files list all pools (active and terminated) that have been approved for Third Tier vintage.  This will aid in determining the vintage for oil royalty calculation purposes under the Petroleum Royalty Regulations.  These files will be updated weekly.

DOE Modernized Royalty Framework (MRF) Guidelines

Reporting Guide - Natural Gas Liquids Reporting
All purchasers of propane (C3), butanes (C4), pentanes plus and condensate (C5+) at NGL field facilities in Alberta are required to report eligible arm’s length purchase information of specification and mix products. This updated manual contains reporting instructions on how to complete the report under the new processes. Refer to IL 2013-35 for more information.
