AER Annual Methane Emissions Reporting Project


The AER is transitioning the reporting system for annual methane emissions from the OneStop platform to Petrinex. Updates will be provided as they become available.

What's Changing?​

  • Effective immediately, OneStop will no longer accept new annual methane emission reports.
  • Annual methane emission reports must be submitted through Petrinex once this reporting functionality becomes available.
  • Annual methane emission reports submitted through OneStop after December 31, 2025, must be resubmitted via Petrinex.

What Remains the Same?

OneStop will remain available for amending past reports and submitting annual reports related to Directive 039 and Directive 084.
