What is a BA?
BA is the abbreviation for Business Associate. Any entity (operator, working interest owner, shipper etc.) that accesses Petrinex to conduct business will be referred to as a BA. Alberta and Manitoba BA's are identified by an ID consisting of 4 alpha numeric characters. Saskatchewan and British Columbia BA's are identified by an ID consisting of 5 numeric characters.
How do I get a BA ID?
The quickest way to obtain a BA ID is use the “Apply for Access” link found on the Homepage and the Overview section of the Petrinex website: www.petrinex.ca. This link provides the user step-by-step instructions on how to obtain a BA ID and/or change the User Security Administrator (USA) password.
