Access is also available to Indian Oil and Gas Canada (IOGC) and, in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, to First Nations with oil and gas activity on their designated lands. First Nations access is limited to non-confidential information for those lands.

If you require access to Petrinex, first prepare a letter of authorization (click HERE for a sample letter) on your organization's letterhead, signed by an authorized signing authority, identifying the BAs User Security Administrator (BA USA) and optionally, a Backup USA. Additional note; the letter cannot be signed by the designated BA USA unless that person is also the owner/President of the company. For First Nation, the letter should be signed by the Chief or an authorized member of Council.
