To advise Alberta pipeline operators that effective July 9, 2026, the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission (APMC) has updated their tariff and equalization invoice submission process by introducing new functionality that allows users to upload supporting documentation with their invoice submissions.

To help Alberta producers and battery operators understand how to properly calculate the trucking rate used when claiming an allowance for the transportation of Crown oil to a custody transfer point – such as a Battery (BT), Terminal (TM), or Cleaning Terminal (CT).

To inform Alberta operators that, effective March 5, 2026, AER Annual Methane Emission Reporting functionality is now available on Petrinex. This tip has been updated to include additional tasks under "User Setup Requirements".

Effective June 4^th, 2026, beginning with the January 2026 production month, mineable oil sands operators who have received approval from the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) to deliver and receive oilsands ore (Petrinex product code: Oilsands) between mineable oil sands facilities can now report the transfers of this product.
